Washington and...I grew up in the Pacific Northwest,<br />Washington and Oregon states... in the U.S. I grew up with blackberry and raspberry jam... love both!<br />Anyway... we had loads of blackberries up there... they grew wild. Great memories of going to pick them with my grandparents! The blackberries vines grow and grow.... they will cover up a car if you leave it in place too many years! LoL... Grandpa would take an old sheet of plywood and throw it on top of a big vine bramble and set up the ladder so my brother and I could pick sitting on the wood sheet! It was easier to pick and then we didn't get hung up in the stickers that are on the vines! Of course you have to eat 1 or 2 and then pick 1 to put into the bucket!
