I'm Back!!!!

O.K... You're probably thinking - 'Where The Hell Have You Been?'... Right????

Well, there really is no 'good' explanation for my blogg-y absence. Things just got on top of me and blogging, unfortunately, was the thing that fell be the way-side... But, I'm back now!!!!

I'm so thrilled with all of the great feedback from my 'Video-Blog #1' that I've finally made '#2'...

(if this doesn't work, again, follow this link) There's 25% off some gorgeous yarn and another great Give-Away so be sure to check it out and let me know what you think...arcadia

  2. love blog post number two... you and your hats are too cute Jodes.... was that filmed in the shop or at home? I was peeking through behind you to the table . I like both slouchy and non-slouchy BUT I want to make for a child older than six so think I would go non slouchy in that instance. would the cascade arcadia you have on sale be suitable? how much would be required? Thanks, Jodie

  3. Hi Jodie, I missed your last video blog but I had time to sit and listen to this one. WOW Girl! Such a great way to get to see your projects and keep in touch. I wish I was closer and you could teach me to knit/crotcher...

  4. Video blog no 2 was great. I love both the slouchy and non-slouchy version of the hat. You are very clever!!

But as I have never made myself a slouchy hat I choose that one. Will this pattern be available to purchase?

What yarn did you use for your hats? The child size is adorable.

  8. Oh how fantastic is your videocast Jodie! Love the hats you made and I really like the non-slouchy one, although the first one from the Shetland Trader book looks great. I might have to buy that book and find out all the great patterns in it. I am going back to no. 1 videocast to see if it works for me this time around!

  10. The video post was great Jodie. It had a real personal feel. I liked both of the hat versions but I think I would probably choose the slouchy.

  17. Your work is beautiful and I just love your blog. I am due with our second baby (first girl!) in September and am so excited to start knitting/crocheting/sewing for her. Both versions of your hat are super cute, but I vote for the non-slouchy one. I think it would be so cute on a tiny little head. ;)

  18. Hi Jodie, Love following your blogs and the videos are great. Whatever you make and wear looks fabulous, but i like the fitted hat better. I get my mum to do the knitting and i decorate them crotched or felt flowers.

  22. Great little video. Big question - what colour is the Malabrigo you had? And is it a deepish variegated blue? I am searching for a darkish electric blue/lapis luzuli sort of colour.
As to your pattern, personally like the slouch

  23. Hi Jodie! Have thoroughly enjoyed both of your video blogs. I do like both of your crochet hat versions, but if I had to really choose I would opt for the non-slouchy version. I love the baby and children's hats too. Look forward to your next video blog!
