(1st picture) About a week ago, with only a week left of
water, I was just about ready to pull out most of the vegetables in my garden.
But, thanks to some much needed rain reaching us on Xmas day I'm lucky enough
to be still enjoying 'black jack' Zuchinni, fresh from the bush. Tonight we're
eating them sliced in half, sprinkled with parmesan cheese, chopped rosemary,
thyme, and freshly cracked pepper. Popped in the oven at 200'C for 20 mins and
what can I say ----- they're P
E R F E C T ! ! !
(2nd picture) In the lead up to Xmas you might remember
me organising a little 'Washer
Swap'... Here's a little sneak peak at some of the awesome gifts that
my gorgeous Swappers sent out to their partners. Over the next week I'll be
popping up links to patterns and respective Swappers blogs so be sure to check
back for the details...
(3rd picture) I love Summer and am enjoying being able
to let me hair down now that it's school holidays - it feels so good to just
take it 'slow' for a change. We're spending many hours on the verandah at the
farm, simply not doing too much at all really - and it feels so good too!!!
(4th picture) And in case you couldn't see my little
cutie in the 3rd picture, this one's a close up... A gorgeous little kitten
who just can't seem to leave my side at the moment and you know what? I kinda
really like it... ;)
So, MERRY
XMAS everyone - enjoy your
next couple of days as you welcome in the New Year too... xx
Beautiful as always Jodie. In a random question, can I ask where did you get your t-shirt?!!! I absolutely love it!!!

DeleteI so hope that 2014 brings with it the promise of rain for you guys - it must be getting REALLY dry over your way... xx
Continue to enjoy those lazy hazy days of your winter, we have freezing cold, snow flurries and cold noses. It is the best time for working with yarn and just taking life one day at a time. Happy New Year to you too Jodie.
ReplyDelete(((HUGS))) Susanne :)
We sure will Susanne... Happy New Year... xx
DeleteKitten in the basket.. just the cutest thing ever.
ReplyDeleteI dream of one day sitting on the verandah of our very own little farm too. Enjoy!
Wishing you and your lovely little family a wonderful 2014. x
Tell me about it Zara - I could eat that little kitten all up it's so darn cute...
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year... xx
Nothing quite like school holidays is there!!! No routine to get interrupted, no schedule to be adhered to and no rules at all really - still wearing pjs at 10am is totally acceptable and eating dinner at 8pm also ok. Great suggestion for preparation of zuchinni - will have to add that to my "Try at least once" list for 2014. Plus I am going to try my hand at crochet this year - if I run into trouble maybe Connie could help me out!!!
