Do I Look Tired?????

It was 1:37am and I was just turning the hall light off and making my way to bed when the screaming started...... For some reason Little Millie was in a horrible start, trying her hardest to scream down the house..... When I finally settled her after an hour and a half of rocking and walking she decided that it was time for something to eat........
Maybe my poor little sweetie was just terribly hungry for some reason or maybe she had a nightmare or maybe she was feeling upset in the tummy, God only knows but all that matters is that she's fine now and a good sign is that she has an appetite...
So it's now 3:12am in the morning and we are sitting at the kitchen table having some toast.... What do you think, does this face look tired to you????
Well I know that mine sure does, for fear of scaring you all I won't show a pic, instead I'm off to bed and I'm taking my little girl with me.....

Here's hoping your day starts a lot better than mine.....

Hugs....... Jodie....................

  1. Awww, she's so sweet! And this is so fun -- I sure wish I had a few pictures of the midnight rendevous' that I had with my babies. Years from now, you'll love this post!

  3. Oh Jodie you poor thing! All 3 of my girls have been through a stage when they swap for nights for days. It is so difficult at the time but afterwards I always remember the privacy and intimacy of those special midnight rendezvous with such fondness. X

  5. how cute is she. I hope you got some good sleep after that.

Although I am not keen on midnight waking from my two peeps, I just love the time alone with them. I think I'll try and remember to take a picture next time!

  6. Oh isnt she just so sweet in that photo! Poor you, hope you got some sleep. Isabelle used to wake up at 12:30 and then 2:30 most nights when she was little and would not go back to sleep. Then she would wake up again at 5 when Paul had to leave for work. I can tell you I was a walking zombie after a few mornings like that. Hope you got a good sleep in afterwards!

  9. Eurgh, that is yukky early! My girl used to have night terrors and would sound like she was being attacked by wild dogs and NOTHING would calm her.

Hope you both survive the day ;-)

  10. Oh poor girlie and poor mama! Could it be a night terror? She is so cute though. I like her name too...that is my moms name.

  11. If only we could read their minds. I think she is of a similar age to my little one and he had a few weeks of utter random sleep disturbances. Waking up screaming, wouldn't settle as if he was scared of going back to bed, wanted to leave the bedroom etc. Just when I thought I was at my wits end he started sleeping through without a peep. Hopefully you won't even have another episode, but regardless, don't worry too much, she'll be back to her normal self in no time. xo m.

  15. must have been the full moon - my little screaming was working her lungs from 2am until 5am so I'd say you and I would have matching bags under our eyes!

  16. I hope it was a one off! I have had two sick babies here so there has been lots of early hour time spent with cuddles and milk for all...

  17. Goodness! I hope she settled down and you both were able to catch up on ZZZs. Definitely a good example of parenting! Sounds like you took it with a grain of salt, but it would make anyone tired! What a cutie and hopefully she's feeling better!
