I love a good music recommendation.... A couple of weeks back after reading a blog post by local girl Ellie I knew it would only be a matter of time before I bought this CD... 
Having listened to it quite a few times now I can definitely rate it right up there with a 10/10!!! This is the solo CD of the 2 back-up singers from the country music trio 'Dixie Chicks'. I'm a huge fan of the Dixie Chicks, I really love that twang-y thing they have going on but let me make this clear, these girls are a new quirky sound all together, much, much more mellow. I'm finding it the perfect background music while tinkering around the house....

Lady Antebellum.... Have you heard of them before??? I have a feeling it won't be long before it's added to my collection also.... *^_^*

I like Lady Antebellum too. I have just been getting into old stuff lately. Mostly 80s music.

ReplyDeleteLove Lady Antebellum, have had a for a few months and listen to it in the car... 15yr old(boy)doesn't like it but 12 & 10yr old girls do!! have heard the sisters sing a couple of weeks ago, might have to check this one out too...

I got the Courtyard Hounds when we were in the states in March - I too am a huge 'chicks' fan, but for some reason I just didn't dig this album!
