PIF Exchange

I found this great little swap on Fiona's blog about a week ago. It's based on this gorgeous movie with Helen Hunt in it called 'Pay It Forward'.
How many of you out there have had a chance to watch it? O.K. If you're yet to see the movie, this is what the PIF Exchange is all about......

(Copied from Fiona's blog, which was copied from Kimberley's blog which was copied from.....you get the picture) "Here is how it works! I'll send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange!I don't know what that gift will be yet, and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week...LOL... but you will receive it within 365 days, that's a promise! and it will be something yummy!! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog..."

So the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog, I can't wait to see who you are! I have some great treats in stall for you all, just you wait and see!

  1. I'm in! That is, I'll be in the PIF exchange. (You've got to love anything called PIF!).

Jelly Wares reminds me that I just bought an old glass jelly mould, the sort I've be loving forever but never bought.

  4. Hi Cosy,
I just love your blog! I'm glad you've joined the PIF exchange...
I've been looking for glass jelly moulds every where. Where did you find the one you bought?

  5. Hi Alaina,
welcome aboard. I can see why you want to leave your current post up on top for a while. The bridge colapse looked pretty horrific.

    Hi Sara,
I agree, it does sound like fun! When I read about it on Fiona's blog last week I joined up straight away.

    Hi Jen,
What a bummer, you just missed out! If this one takes off without a hitch I might do another one in a couple of months.

  7. Hi Jodie! Thanks for the PIF welcome. I'll post the info on my blog today. Hope there's some takers!

I got the jelly mould from a 2nd hand stall at a local market. It was a lucky (cheap) find!

  9. I love this idea and am perpetuating it on my own blog - Not Much More Than This.

I am also tracking this through blogs back to the original source. I am thoroughly enjoying the new blogs I am visiting on the way.

    My path so far includes:

Found on Life in the Lost World, who found on Just a Flip Flop Mom, who found on Appliqué Today, who found on Cotton Spice Blog, who traced the movement back to roxtarchicknits, who found here on Whimsical Knitting, who says she found it here on Musings from a Knucklehead. Musings links to Knit Tea, Lapdog Creations &The Yarn Closet - not exactly sure where Musings found it, that wasn't clear. I started with Knit Tea, moved on to The Yarn Closet, and then Lapdog creations where I couldn't find out how to comment. Knit Tea signed up over at
the Bag Lady and the Pro who jumped on the bandwagon when she found it on Days Go By, who found it on If Pony's could knit, who found it on I'd Rather Be Knitting.Okay, are you seeing the same thing I am? After the first two or three bloggers, this thing is a knitting thang LOL Anyway, and so my journey continues, bringing me here to Jelly Wares

And so I am off to finish my treasure hunt of sorts :)
