What Would You Do????????

At the very edge of my piano sits my almost finished Shalom.....
<span class=
It's been sitting there for a couple of weeks now, staring at me....

You see, I've hit a bit of a brick wall with the sleeves. I have 1 finished but don't like the way it's sitting, or should I say 'Ballooning'. So, do I rip it back and start again or do I leave it for a couple more weeks in the off chance that I might change my mind and actually come to like the 'Ballooning' sleeves after all????

What would you do????

  1. hi jodie,

rip it out. if you don't like it after it's been sitting there for a couple of weeks, it's not going to grow on you. bite the bullet and start pulling the yarn! lol
    julie :)

  2. Frog it Jodie, if you are having doubts you will never wear it, or wear it only once :-)

  3. I would leave it and in 5 years time when it is all dusty and I can't even remember what it is throw it out but you should pull it out and fix it....

  4. Jodie you have a few options...
    1. turn it into a cushion cover, a neck warmer, depending on how big it is.
    2. pull it out. you know when you eagerly start reading a new book and you just can't get into it, so you put it aside thinking you'll go back to it 'one day' but you never do. the shalom could be headed for the same fate.
i do love the colour. Maybe you could turn the wool into one of those fabulous lacy circle scarves you posted recently and send it to me! Jane x

  5. Chances are if you don't like it today, you won't like it tomorrow. Scrap it and use the yarn for something you will love. No use to put all that time, money and effort into something you will throw in the closet or drawer and never use.

  6. Btw. You are super-fast so once you do it, you'll have it re-done in no time, and wonder why you left it for so long!

Spring Seed Swap?

I had big plans of sharing a late Winter garden update with you all this post, full of beautiful pictures of Wintry produce such as peas (...
