Itching.....

I'm loving the cool afternoons of late, they're just perfect for rugging up....Hand-knits are always an essential when the temps drop and my most favourite at the moment would have to be this super simple little tri-peak hat...
I used my very first ball of hand-spun to make it so it holds a very special place in my heart...

And when it tops my little Millie's head my heart just melts!!! I'm so itching to spin up some more.....

Hugs............................ Jodie xx

  5. How cute does Millie look in your creation. For your first spinning your work is so nice and even. My first go, while at school, was REALLY lumpy. Funnily enough, it also ended up as a hat. I've never taken up spinning, despite having two wheels in the house and one on the verandah. I leave that up to my Dad who loves it.

  9. Love the hat Jodie. Always keep it - the first item you have spun the wool for and then knitted is an heirloom in my books.
